Calabar festival 2011

The 2011 calabar international festival in calabar ,cross river state in the niger delta area of nigeria is now holding .
Its an annual event featuring parades,musical shows,exhibitions,fashion parades ,beauty context and tradional nigerian dancers and culture .in fact this is largest street carnival in africa and foregn visitors will have the chance to catch a glimpse of african culture and dancers there are so many interesting things for you to see there just try to be there
The event is a month long running from november 29, 2011 to january 2,2012
Getting to nigeria is easy from around the world well the event is head every year at the time mentioned above

Chinese in love with africa

Today in africa the chinese are everywhere.in most african countries find more number of chinese than any other foreigners from asia,europe and america really there is chinese invasion of africa this makes one to wonder if there are wars in china and hence,they all moved here to avoid been killed! The chinese are so ubuquitous here in nigeria and africa indeed.former US President George Bush was right when he said that "china should be held responsble for whatever that happens in africa".he said this when he visited nigeria as he observed that the chinese are everywhere.from nigeria to ghana to sudan to zambia to togo and all other african nations the chinese are everywhere
Here in nigeria for instance they are so many that they engage jobs meant for locals ,there are some of them to work in their scattered all over Nigeria such as China Civil Engineering & Construction and China Petroleum Exploration Company.these two alone employ about 45% of chinese skilled workers in nigeria while the rest engage in menial jobs and trading . That is why lots of the goods in africa come from china .
I have keenly observed that nigeria and africa provides them with a great freedom they would otherwise they get in china. Take for example birth policy in china no man is allowed to have more than four children but there are many of them here in nigeria having more than 4 children.you see they married nigerian girls and have many children but if he tries that in china ,he sees himself next in jail!
Next is the fact that our air here is far better for humans than theirs.china is a country fill with industries i heard its very hard to get safe underground water.under ground water there in contaminted with wastes from the industries which litters everywhere
Next is our festivals as this brings lots of them here as tourists .one of such is calabar festival in cross river state and the chinese come to see live africa masquerades
